This photo was taken at the beginning of the rainy season in San Benito County, California. The grass was just starting to come up in force and rain clouds hovered overhead, mixed with stretches of clear sky and sun. The cows don't seem to care much whether it was sunny or cloudy though - they were probably just glad to have some fresh, new grass to eat!
