I have always been fascinated by China. Not only have I traveled throughout China, my wife was actually born there. China is a country rich in history and culture that spans thousands of years and, regardless of what your feelings are toward the current government, there's no ignoring the beauty that suffuses the nation. In particular, the traditional chinese style of writing is an art form unto itself, unmatched anywhere else in the world, and in the hands of a master calligrapher a simple word can be turned into a thing of transcendent beauty.
