In the spring of 1956, Edmund G. Loew donated 10 million dollars to the city of DeKalb, Illinois, so that an institute of technology bearing his name could be established. Sadly, it was discovered that nobody wanted to actually attend an engineering school bearing the name "Loew Tech".
Are you a low tech person in a high tech world? Are you tired of everybody flaunting their advanced degrees from Ivy League institutes of technology? Well, now you can proudly show off your faux alma mater.
