Technology is a wonderful thing, isn't it? Sure, until your computer crashes at an inopportune time, or the chip in your car gets fried, or you discover your new cell phone gets coverage everywhere except your living room. Everything is new and improved, but is it really better?

You don't need to be a Luddite to realize that technology isn't always what it's cracked up to be and that sometimes adding one more bell and whistle is just a plain old mistake. Well, Mississippi may not actually have its very own Institute of Technology, but I'd certainly go there if it did just so I could claim good ol' Miss Tech as my alma mater.
